I became interested in using organic products because of my own sensitivity to toxic beauty products.  I have had a diverse career that has spanned over 30 years.  I have worked as a salon educator, show organizer, and platform artist for Brocato International and Farouk Systems.  I am fortunate to have worked with some of the most talented people in my industry such as Farouk Shami, Sam Brocato, and their associates.  I believe that education is the key to both personal and career success, so I am constantly learning.  I also hold a bachelors degree in Communication Studies from Seattle University.  I love what I do and feel very blessed having so many fabulous clients/friends!   You are welcome here.  Come and join us!

 

The moment I walked in to Nancy's cute, warm little Shampoo Bar I knew I had found the right place for me. When I first met Nancy, I noticed she had the most beautiful, soft, shiny and healthy blond hair I had ever seen. I was convinced whatever she was doing or using was something I wanted too! Nancy took the time to understand me and my hair issues and started by de-toxifying my poor over colored, damaged hair. I have been thrilled with the Pureology products she uses, not only for the great color she creates and the excellent feel of healthy hair, but it's also a treat not having to endure even a hint of chemical smells during any process. I always look forward to going to the Shampoo Bar to see Nancy because I can count on being pampered and spoiled each time and leave feeling better about myself. She always makes sure that when I leave I am totally satisfied and love the final look. I would - and do - highly recommend her to anyone who is ready for a totally great hair experience. Shampoo Bar is a warm friendly salon with just the right amount of small town feel near the big city! The owner Nancy Cole has done a fabulous job of cutting and layering my thick wavy hair. Nancy suggested I try some highlights as I have never colored my auburn locks. I trusted her expertise and was extremely happy with the results.  A BIG YES! to Organic and Non-Toxic pleasant smelling shampoos, hair colors, and even perms! I am a believer and I don' t know why there aren't more stylist using these products.
